About this design
A one-page site for MOT and servicing workshops, garages and detailing studios. The visitor is usually comparing two or three local garages on a phone, often because something is wrong with the car right now.
Prices are fixed where a job can genuinely have one — the MOT fee, a full service, a set of tyres — and honestly marked "priced after inspection" where it cannot. A guessed price the garage cannot honour costs more trust than no price at all.
The booking form is built around how a workshop actually confirms a job: phone is required and email is optional, because a garage calls to confirm a slot rather than emailing a written quote. It also asks for the MOT due date — the one field no other booking form in this catalogue has — so the garage can text a reminder eleven months from now. That is real repeat business most workshop websites never ask for.
The figures strip is the catalogue's first data visualisation: every number sits inside a radial gauge dial rather than plain text, drawn correct by PHP before any JavaScript runs.
One thing it deliberately will not do: there is nowhere to name a manufacturer or upload a car-brand logo anywhere in the theme. A manufacturer's name and logo are trademarks, and using either implies an approval or partnership most independent workshops do not have. Vehicles are described by type instead — cars, vans, hybrid and electric, 4x4 — which is what most searches use anyway.
